Nature

Approximately 80% of the village of Higashidori is composed of woodlands. Facing the Pacific Ocean and the Tsugaru Strait, this is a place that is home to the bounty of nature. From spring and summer to autumn and winter, a different face of Higashidori can be seen in each of the four seasons.

With land that is incorporated into Shimokita Geopark, there are plenty of opportunities to learn from and enjoy the unique topography.
